Kathmandu: The upcoming ‘Naima Nepal Mobility Expo 2025’ at Bhrikuti Mandap will witness the official launch of the Ather Rizta family scooter in Nepal.
The event, organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (Naima), will feature the unveiling of this new electric scooter by Vaidya Energy, Ather’s authorized distributor for Nepal.
Originally launched in the Indian market, the Rizta has been specifically developed as a family-friendly electric scooter. It boasts several premium features including a spacious flat seat, 34-litre under-seat storage, skid control system, tip-over alert, emergency stop signal, integrated Google Maps navigation, live location sharing capability, performance and specifications.
The Rizta comes with two battery options offering 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh capacities, providing an impressive range of up to 140 kilometers on a single charge. The scooter features two riding modes – Zip and Smart – along with additional functionalities like reverse mode, hill hold assist, a TFT screen, and disc brakes.
This launch represents a significant addition to Nepal’s growing electric vehicle market, offering families an eco-friendly and feature-rich mobility solution.
