Gold price sees sharp increase, silver also rises

Kathmandu: The price of gold surged significantly on Sunday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold rose by Rs 3,400 per tola today.

With this increase, the price of gold has reached Rs 196,500 per tola, compared to Rs 193,100 recorded the previous day.

The price of silver has also gone up. Silver is now being traded at Rs 2,250 per tola, which is Rs 15 higher than Saturday’s rate of Rs 2,235.

This surge in precious metal prices reflects global market trends and fluctuating investor demand.
