Dang: The Dang-Salyan road section of the Rapti Highway was obstructed after a heavy rain caused a landslide at Kapurkot, the border point of Dang and Salyan districts.
Chief of Kapurkot Police Post Tankeshwor Bhattarai said that vehicular movement along the route is fully obstructed from early morning today as the road is blocked from the landslide.
Bhattarai said the landslide occurred at Kapurkot Rural Municipality-3 in Salyan district and added that efforts are initiated to resume the traffic.
The vehicles and riders have been told to use alternative routes and apply precautions in the wake of road obstruction and landslide.
