NADA Auto Show 2025 set to kick off on 19 August in Kathmandu


Kathmandu: NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal has announced that the NADA Auto Show 2025 will be held from 19 to 24 August at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Ground in Kathmandu.

Organizers say the event aims to inject new energy and innovation into Nepal’s automotive industry.

This year’s show will run under the theme “Go for More”, showcasing the latest advancements in technology, sustainability, and smart mobility.

It will bring together the entire automobile ecosystem under one roof, including manufacturers, service providers, and consumers.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel is scheduled to inaugurate the event.

The event will feature cutting-edge technologies, including Unitree Robots, representing a new era of automation and artificial intelligence as well as Deepal eVTOL UAV, a glimpse into the future of urban air mobility.

More than 19 four-wheeler brands, 13 light commercial vehicle brands, and 4 two-wheeler brands will be on display. In addition, 35 companies dealing in lubricants, tires, batteries, garage equipment, and financial services will also set up stalls.

Over 125 exhibitors are expected to participate, and the event is anticipated to draw more than 100,000 visitors. Spanning 300,000 square feet, including 162,500 square feet of exhibition space, it will be Nepal’s largest auto show to date.

The event is title-sponsored by MAW Vriddhi, co-sponsored by Shikhar Insurance, and powered by Campa Cola. Yango is the mobility partner, while Khalti by IME serves as the exclusive ticketing partner. Khalti has announced a 20 percent cashback on pre-booked tickets until 18 August.

Additionally, Nepal Lube Oil will offer free lubricants for one year to 12 lucky winners during the show.

To ensure convenience and safety, the organizers have planned segmented zones for better visitor flow, advanced ticket pre-booking, a dedicated media desk, a traffic information desk in partnership with Metropolitan Traffic Police, on-site emergency health teams, and security surveillance and fire control systems.

Some of the main attractions include vintage Motor Show featuring classics like Morris Minor, Fiat, Peugeot, VW Beetle, Mini Cooper, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota RT, Toyota RT40, Toyota Corolla, Mazda Familia, Toyota MR2, and VW buses. There will be a Made in Nepal Pavilion and International Business Pavilion. Interactive seminars and workshops focused on EVs, smart mobility, and sustainability are some other notable features.

NADA President Karan Chaudhary said the show has solidified itself as the premier platform for Nepal’s automotive industry.

“With 16 successful editions, participation from leading brands, and the trust of hundreds of thousands of visitors, NADA Auto Show has become the flagship event for the country’s auto sector,” he said.
