Kathmandu: Sikles Hydropower Company has announced plans to distribute dividends to its shareholders. The decision was made during the company’s board of directors meeting held on 9 August.
The company will distribute a 15 percent bonus share and 0.78 percent cash dividend for tax purposes, based on its paid-up capital.
Additionally, after the issuance of bonus shares, Sikles Hydropower will issue rights shares in a 1:1 ratio relative to the adjusted paid-up capital.
The proposed dividend will be distributed to shareholders following approval at the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting for the next fiscal year.
