Kathmandu: Amudi Foods, the manufacturer of popular snacks such as U-N-ME Cheese Rings and Cheese Balls, is set to issue an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to the general public.
The company will offer 2 million ordinary shares at a par value of Rs 100 per share.
To manage and sell the IPO, Amudi Foods has appointed Global IME Capital Limited as its issue and sales manager.
The agreement was signed at a ceremony held at Global IME Capital’s central office in Naxal, with Amudi Foods Chairman Achyut Basnet and Global IME Capital CEO Mandip Luitel representing their respective organizations.
Amudi Foods operates from its corporate office in Koteshwor, Ward No. 32 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, while its manufacturing plant is located in Gondrang, Ward No. 12 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Chitwan.
The company is backed by investments from reputable entrepreneurs, industrialists, academicians, and well-known personalities with experience across diverse sectors.
Known for producing quality snacks under the U-N-ME brand, Amudi Foods has built strong market popularity and is now strategically entering the noodles production segment. The company aims to use its production capacity to expand market reach, create jobs, and establish itself as a competitive Nepali brand in both domestic and international markets.
According to the company, the upcoming noodles line is part of its plan to promote Nepali flavours globally while enhancing brand presence in the highly competitive food industry.
