Kathmandu: President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Chandra Prasad Dhakal, has said that as private sector confidence grows, its positive impact is beginning to be seen in the economy.
He made the remarks on Tuesday while inaugurating the 17th edition of the NADA Auto Show 2025, organized by the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal.
“The contribution of the Auto Show to the economy is very significant. In recent years, the slowdown in the economy had affected all sectors,” Dhakal said. “However, from this year, market demand has been increasing. The confidence of the private sector is also turning positive this year.”
He added that sufficient liquidity in banks and financial institutions, along with policy facilitation, has also helped activate the overall economy.
“The growing import of electric vehicles is a positive sign for us,” he said, adding, “with continued supportive policies, the market will perform even better in the coming days.”
