Kathmandu: Health & Hygiene Product Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Baba Group, has continued its growth trajectory with strong business figures over the past years.
According to the company, it recorded a turnover of Rs 781 million during the first nine months of the last fiscal year. In 2024, the company had achieved a total turnover of Rs 1.06 billion, marking its highest annual performance so far.
The company has achieved a steady year-on-year growth. Since its establishment in 2017, the company has steadily scaled up operations: 2021: Rs 238 million, 2022: Rs 413 million, 2023: Rs 677 million, and 2024: Rs 1.06 billion.
This consistent upward trend reflects both product diversification and market expansion, with sales increasing more than fourfold in just three years.
The company manufactures a range of hygiene products, including sanitary napkins, diapers, wipes, and pantyliners. Initially focused on the domestic market, it has since expanded distribution into India, where demand for affordable hygiene products is rising.
It entered the hygiene industry with sanitary pad production in 2020, gradually introducing diapers, wipes, and pantyliners to meet broader consumer demand.
Health & Hygiene Product Pvt Ltd is jointly owned by Suman Rathi and Hemant Rathi, who hold equal stakes. To support its expansion, the company has secured credit ratings worth Rs. 1.25 billion, divided into: Rs 433 million in long-term credit rating, and Rs 817 million in short-term credit rating.
Such financial backing has enabled it to ramp up production and explore new export opportunities.
Exports have become a vital component of the company’s revenue model. In 2024, 34 percent of total earnings came from exports, while the latest data shows around 30 percent of income generated from international markets, mainly India.
