Kathmandu: Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturer Aucwell has officially entered the Nepali market. The brand made its debut after appointing EV Go Nepal Pvt Ltd as its authorized distributor.
Aucwell, a leading name in the commercial vehicle segment, will bring its lineup of electric vans and microbuses to Nepal. The company, which has been producing commercial vehicles in China for nearly two decades, has recently prioritized the production of electric vehicles.
An exclusive agreement between Aucwell EV China and EV Go Nepal has paved the way for the entry of Aucwell commercial EVs into Nepal. Aucwell produces a wide range of commercial electric vehicles, from 11-seater vans to large electric buses and pickups.
Currently, Aucwell’s electric commercial vehicles are sold in over 70 countries worldwide. With the new agreement, Nepali consumers will now have access to these vehicles through EV Go Nepal.
Initially, the company will introduce 11, 14, and 16-seater electric vans and microbuses in Nepal, according to Anup Kumar Baral, Managing Director of EV Go Nepal. Following this, the company plans to expand its offerings to include 19-seater, 25-seater, and larger electric buses.
Depending on market demand, Aucwell also aims to introduce cargo EV vans, electric pickups, and medium-sized electric trucks in Nepal.
Aucwell’s manufacturing plant is located in Fujian Province, China, with its headquarters in Shandong Province. The company also has its own R&D centre dedicated to innovation in electric vehicle production.
One of Aucwell’s key strengths lies not only in vehicle manufacturing but also in the production of affordable spare parts, giving it an edge over other Chinese EV brands in the commercial segment.

To support its operations in Nepal, EV Go Nepal has already begun establishing service centers, starting from Kathmandu. The company plans to expand service facilities across major cities as sales grow. It has also initiated preparations to ensure adequate spare parts supply for Aucwell’s vans and microbuses in Nepal.
