Final day to apply for Bandipur Cable Car IPO


Kathmandu: Sunday is the last day to apply for the initial public offering (IPO) of Bandipur Cable Car.

Earlier, the company had already issued and allotted IPO shares allocated for local residents of the project-affected area and for Nepalis working abroad. Today marks the deadline for the public issue.

The company had received approval to issue 20.7067 percent of its issued capital of Rs 2.83 billion — equivalent to Rs 586 million, or 5.86 million shares. Out of these, 566,000 shares were allocated for local residents, 529,400 shares for Nepalis working abroad, 158,820 shares for employees, and 264,700 shares for mutual funds — all of which have already been allotted.

In the second phase, the company issued 4,341,080 shares for general investors at a par value of Rs 100 per share, totaling Rs 434.108 million.
