Kathmandu: Samsung has expanded its popular A-series in Nepal by launching the new Galaxy A17 5G.
The price has been set at Rs 34,999 (8/256GB), Rs 30,999 (8/128GB), and Rs 28,999 (6/128GB).
The Galaxy A17 5G features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a slimmer and lighter design, and a linear grouped camera setup. It comes with a 50MP OIS main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens, providing diverse shooting options.
The device integrates AI tools such as Gemini Integration, Gemini Live, and Circle to Search, designed to make everyday life more convenient and smarter, according to the company.
Pranay Ratna Sthapit, Director of Samsung Nepal, said: “Through the Galaxy A17 5G, we aim to offer Nepali consumers a smarter, easier, and more personalized experience. We believe innovations shouldn’t remain limited to premium devices, and the A17 marks a new step in bringing AI-powered technology into daily life.”
It also includes strong protection features such as Gorilla Glass Victus and IP54 dust and splash resistance. Additionally, the company has ensured long-term value with six years of security updates and six OS upgrades.
