Kathmandu: Prabhu Bank has been recognized as Nepal’s Best Digital Bank, receiving an international award for excellence in digital banking services.
Global financial publication Euromoney Ltd presented the Euromoney Excellence Award to Prabhu Bank during a ceremony in Singapore.
The award was jointly received by the bank’s Chief Business Officer, Rashmi Pant, along with three other senior female executives of the bank.
This is not the first global recognition for Prabhu Bank. In 2023, it was also honoured with the prestigious Bank of the Year award.
The bank stated that the latest honour underscores its international recognition for advancing digital services tailored to small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Prabhu Bank has been introducing customer-centric digital solutions through modern technologies, expanding access to a wide range of banking services.
In recent years, the bank has achieved significant progress in SME banking by offering services such as mobile and internet banking, digital loans, business payment solutions, online account operations, digital tax and revenue payments, insurance, and financial advisory services.
Following the award, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer said the achievement is not only a testament to the institution’s success but also a victory for Nepal’s entrepreneurial community.
