Kathmandu: Nepal Infrastructure Bank has declared a 6.32 percent cash dividend to its shareholders.
The decision was made at a meeting of the bank’s Board of Directors, which approved the distribution from the company’s accumulated profits of the last fiscal year.
The dividend amounts to Rs 1.3442 billion (approximately US$ 100 million), representing 6.32 percent of the bank’s paid-up capital.
Nepal Infrastructure Bank currently holds a paid-up capital of Rs 21.60 billion.
The proposed dividend will be distributed upon approval from the Nepal Rastra Bank (central bank) and subsequent endorsement by the company’s annual general meeting.
