Kathmandu: The death toll from the Gen Z Movement protests in Nepal climbed to 13 on Monday, with hospitals in the Kathmandu Valley struggling to cope with the growing number of casualties.

According to hospital sources, fatalities have been reported across several medical facilities in the capital. Six people died at the Trauma Center, two at Civil Hospital, one at KMC Hospital, one at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, and three at Everest Hospital.

Dozens more protesters have been injured in clashes with police. Hospitals in the Baneshwar area, near the federal parliament building, are said to be filled to capacity with the wounded.
