Death toll in Nepal’s Gen Z protests rises to 15


Kathmandu: Another protester critically injured during the Gen Z Movement demonstrations has died while undergoing treatment at the National Trauma Centre in Kathmandu.

The latest casualty brings the death toll at the Trauma Centre alone to seven.

According to hospital reports, other fatalities have been recorded at Civil Hospital (3 deaths), KMC Hospital (1), Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (1), and Everest Hospital (3). In total, 15 protesters have now been confirmed dead since the clashes erupted.

Authorities have yet to provide a confirmed figure on the number of injured, though hospitals across the capital remain overwhelmed with casualties.
