Kathmandu: Protesters set fire to the house of former Vice President and Maoist Centre leader Nanda Bahadur Pun located in Dahachok Tuesday.
The Gen Z-led demonstrations began on Monday, fuelled by public anger over the government’s social media ban, widespread corruption, systemic injustices, and the extravagant lifestyles of political leaders and their families.
The nationwide protests escalated further after police firing resulted in the death of 19 youths, leading to intensified demonstrations across the country today.
