Sushila Karki sworn in as new Prime Minister


Kathmandu: Sushila Karki, Nepal’s former chief justice, has officially taken the oath of office as the country’s new prime minister.

In a special ceremony held at the presidential palace, Sheetal Niwas, on Friday, Karki was sworn in by President Ram Chandra Paudel, marking the beginning of her tenure amid a historic political transition.

Karki has taken the responsibility of all the ministries. She is expected to announce her cabinet soon.
