Kathmandu: Sanima Bank has announced its 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for September 19 at Amrapali Banquet, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 11 am.
The agenda includes approval of a 7.3685 percent cash dividend, with the bank aiming to distribute it before Tihar. In addition, the AGM will elect three directors representing the promoter group to the board of directors.
The bank has also proposed issuing irredeemable preference shares worth Rs 2 billion, at a face value of Rs 100 per share. These preference shares will carry a dividend rate of 8.25 percent.
For the AGM, the shareholders’ register will be closed on October 13 for one day. Accordingly, shareholders recorded up to October 12 will be eligible to attend the meeting and claim dividends.
