Domestic flights resume at Tribhuvan International Airport after heavy rains

Kathmandu: Due to continuous heavy rains, domestic flights from Tribhuvan International Airport, which had been suspended since Saturday, have resumed from Sunday morning.

The Tribhuvan Airport Office has informed that domestic flights have started in locations where the weather is favourable. According to the airport office, flights from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and Bhadrapur have already departed this morning.

The office stated that domestic flights were resumed after reports indicated that the weather in Pokhara and Surkhet is also suitable for air travel. International flights, however, have been operating regularly since yesterday evening.
