Kathmandu: The upcoming family drama film Paraan, set to release on November 14, has announced a competition called ‘My Paraan’ to engage audiences. The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of Rs 100,000.
According to the production team, interested participants must share a photo with the person they consider their ‘Paraan’ (e.g., mother, father, husband, wife, friend, partner, sibling, etc.), write ‘My Paraan’ on it, express their emotions, and tag the post on the film’s official Facebook page.
One lucky participant will win one lakh rupees through a lucky draw, while 100 others will receive tickets to a special screening of the film.
For promotion, volunteers are roaming the city with QR codes related to the film. Fifty people who scan the QR code and share the Paraan trailer or song will get the chance to watch the movie with the cast. Both competitions are open for participation until November 20.
Directed by Deepak Prasad Acharya (Kaku), known for Sakkigoni, this is his debut feature film, which portrays an emotional story of the bond between a father and son.
The film stars Nir Shah, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Pooja Chand, Keki Adhikari, Buddhi Tamang, Yaseli Yonghang, Bobin Rai, Pushparaj Ojha, Sima Kafle, Daman Rupakheti, Yaman Shrestha, Subrataraj Acharya, Suresh Thapa, Binod Rai, and child actors Aryadeep Acharya and Arav Jung Adhikari.
