Neoteric sees 4.5% revenue dip in 2025, but profits edge up to 5.34%


Kathmandu: Neoteric Nepal, a subsidiary of the Golchha Group, recorded a 4.50 percent decline in business turnover. The company’s trade fell by 4.50 percent in 2025 compared to 2024.

In 2024, the company posted turnover of Rs 3.66 billion, which dropped to Rs 3.495 billion in 2025.

For reference, Neoteric’s turnover in 2023 stood at Rs 3.583 billion.

Despite the revenue contraction, net profit improved. The company achieved a 5.34 percent profit margin in 2025, up from 5.18 percent in 2024, along with a net profit of 0.45 percent.

Established in 2004, Neoteric operates in the IT sector as the authorized distributor for Dell laptops and servers. It is also the official vendor for Nokia Corporation’s telecom equipment.

The company distributes over 30 brands and more than 1,000 products across Nepal. It holds distribution agreements with Dell Technologies, Dell EMC, Nokia, Hikvision, PeopleLink, SAP, and other global firms.

Neoteric maintains five showrooms nationwide. It has secured credit ratings totalling Rs 3.687 billion, comprising Rs 512.9 million for long-term loans and Rs 3.175 billion for short-term facilities.

The firm imports goods from China, Malaysia, and India, making it the largest importer of information and technology products in Nepal.

Him Electronics, the institutional founder shareholder, serves as Samsung’s authorized distributor in Nepal. Additional investment comes from individuals linked to the Golchha Group, led by businessman Shekhar Golchha.

Sanjay Golchha, brother of Neoteric chairman Shekhar Golchha, serves as the company’s chairman.
