Kathmandu: Nepal Insurance Authority Chairman Janak Raj Sharma administered the oath of office and secrecy to Nirmal Dhakal as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of National Insurance Company Limited on Monday.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Authority’s central office.
Dhakal, previously serving as Deputy Director General of the Department of Money Laundering Investigation, was appointed to the role following a Cabinet decision on 30 October 2025.
Present at the event were Insurance Authority Director Kundan Sapkota, National Insurance Company CEO Dr Shivahari Shrestha, and other senior officials.
