Pranav Food Processing Industries reports Rs 15.7 crore in sales for first quarter of current fiscal year


Kathmandu: Pranav Food Processing Industries has recorded sales of Rs 15.7 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal year.

The company had achieved Rs 36.7 crore in sales over the first eight-and-a-half months of the previous fiscal year. Having commenced operations in October 2024, the company posted a net profit margin of 1.76 percent.

Established in 2019, the company produces and markets agricultural commodities, with a focus on rice processing.

It sells rice in the Nepali market under the brands Panyun, Samunnati, Hemant, and Paresh. The company has obtained credit ratings totaling Rs 74.96 crore for long-term and short-term loans, including Rs 17.96 crore for long-term facilities and Rs 57 crore for short-term financing.

The company sources all raw materials required for rice production from the domestic market. Pashupati Burlakoti serves as the company’s chairman.
