Kathmandu: Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has announced a 10 percent total dividend for its shareholders from the profits of the fiscal year 2024/25.
The decision was made at the board meeting held on 19 November 2025. The proposed dividend package consists of 5.6365 percent bonus shares (to be capitalized from the current paid-up capital of Rs 1.6566 billion) and 4.3635 percent cash dividend (including cash amount required for tax on bonus shares).
This brings the total dividend payout to exactly 10 percent.
The proposal now requires approval from Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) and ratification at the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) before it can be distributed to shareholders.
Swabalamban Laghubitta, one of Nepal’s leading microfinance institutions focused on financial inclusion in rural and underserved areas, continues to reward investors with consistent dividend payouts despite a challenging operating environment for the microfinance sector.
