Kathmandu: Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, a national-level microfinance institution, has declared a total dividend of 14.7368 percent on its current paid-up capital for the previous fiscal year.
The payout consists of 14 percent in bonus shares and 0.7368 percent in cash (primarily for tax purposes), rewarding shareholders amid the sector’s ongoing contributions to financial inclusion in rural areas.
The decision was made during a board meeting held in late November. The proposal now awaits approval from the Nepal Rastra Bank and ratification at the upcoming annual general meeting before distribution to shareholders.
