Kathmandu: Swarojgar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has declared dividends from its profits for the previous fiscal year.
The microfinance institution announced a total dividend of 15 percent on its existing paid-up capital. Of this, 14.25 percent will be distributed as bonus shares, while 0.75 percent will be paid in cash (for tax purposes).
The decision was made during a meeting of the company’s Board of Directors held on December 19. The dividend will be distributed only after receiving approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and being endorsed by the upcoming Annual General Meeting of shareholders.
