Kathmandu: Asian Hotel, which is preparing to launch an initial public offering (IPO), recorded business transactions worth Rs 105 million (approximately US$ 7.9 million) in a single year. According to the company, its turnover in the last fiscal year reached that figure, marking a solid rise in performance.
The hotel’s revenue has shown a steady upward trend in recent years. It generated Rs 74 million in 2024, compared to Rs 66 million in 2023. Established in 2015, the company was converted into a public company in July 2025 as part of its preparation to enter the capital market.
During the last fiscal year, the company’s turnover increased by 17 percent, and it reported a net profit of Rs 7 million, reflecting improving financial health ahead of its IPO plans.
Asian Hotel operates a four-star property in Bhairahawa, a key gateway city near Nepal’s southern border. The hotel is spread across 42,636 square feet and offers 66 guest rooms.
Hotel operations began in 2022 with just 16 rooms. From the last fiscal year, however, the hotel has been operating at full capacity with all 66 rooms available to guests.
Occupancy rates have also improved significantly. The company reported an average occupancy of 37 percent in 2023, which rose to 53 percent in 2024.
The company is jointly owned by Paras Adhikari and Santosh Chaudhary, each holding a 14 percent stake. Adhikari currently serves as the chairman.
