Haldiram’s snacks distributor Vishwanath Trade House posts nearly Rs 1 billion in turnover


Kathmandu: Vishwanath Trade House, the distributor of Haldiram-branded snacks in Nepal, recorded close to Rs 1 billion in business turnover in the last fiscal year. The company achieved sales worth Rs 956 million during the period.

The firm reported a turnover of Rs 921 million in 2024 and Rs 912 million in 2023, showing steady year-on-year growth.

Established in 2013, Vishwanath Trade House imports fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and markets them across Nepal.

Operated under the DV Group, the company has seen its business grow by around 4 percent annually. It posted a profit margin of 7.52 percent in the last fiscal year, up from 6.88 percent in 2024.

The company, which has investment from Vishwanath Prasad Shah, has secured a credit rating of Rs 636.2 million for both long-term and short-term borrowings. Of this, Rs 336.2 million has been rated for long-term loans, while Rs 300 million has been rated for short-term financing.
