21 motorable bridges constructed in eight years in Parbat


Parbat: Altogether 21 motorable bridges were constructed in the past eight years in the district of Parbat.

The officials shared that the bridges are in operation in all seasons. The district has road connectivity to all 61 wards.

The district with 210 kilometers of blacktopped rural roads constructed 21 motorable bridges including two in Mid Hill Highway and three in Kaligandaki corridor.

The district has achieved impressive progress during the period in the area of physical infrastructure.
The bridges were constructed in Modibeni, Jhilibarang, Tilahar, Durlung, Bajung, Ambotkhola, Jahare, Dobilla, Pakuwa Arther and other areas, the Infrastructure Development Office, Parbat, shared.

However, eight more bridges are yet to be constructed in the district though the detail project reports were prepared. The budget has not been assured for the construction of those bridges, the office stated.
