Rising air pollution prompts CG Electronics to promote Black+Decker air purifiers

Kathmandu: As air pollution levels surge to hazardous levels in Kathmandu Valley and other major cities across Nepal, CG Electronics has raised concerns over deteriorating air quality and its impact on public health. With the Air Quality Index (AQI) frequently crossing the “unhealthy” threshold of 150 during the dry winter season, the company is urging citizens to take precautions, particularly to protect respiratory health.

CG Electronics, under the CG Group, said that while outdoor pollution caused by dust, smoke, and seasonal weather changes cannot be immediately controlled, individuals can take meaningful steps to improve indoor air quality at home and in offices. A company spokesperson stated that safeguarding customers’ health, safety, and quality of life remains a core commitment, and indoor air management is a practical starting point.

To address this need, CG Electronics is promoting Black+Decker air purifiers as a reliable solution for indoor pollution control. The devices combine modern design with a powerful three-stage filtration system aimed at delivering cleaner and fresher air with every breath.

The system includes a pre-filter that captures larger particles such as dust, hair, and pet fur, helping extend the lifespan of deeper filters. It also features a True HEPA 13 filter capable of removing 99.97 percent of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, smoke, fine dust, and common allergens. An activated carbon filter further absorbs odors and harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs), enhancing overall indoor air safety.

Amid worsening pollution levels, the company is encouraging households to adopt necessary health precautions and maintain clean indoor environments. Black+Decker air purifiers are available through CG Electronics showrooms and authorized dealers across Nepal.
