Hotel Bhadgaon & Resort posts strong growth, plans 5-star upgrade


Kathmandu: Hotel Bhadgaon & Resort reported revenue of approximately Rs 85 million in the last fiscal year, marking steady growth in its hospitality business. The resort had generated Rs 63 million in 2024 and Rs 50 million in 2023, reflecting a consistent upward trend.

Of the total revenue recorded last year, 48 percent came from food and beverage services, while 35 percent was generated from room bookings. The resort posted a net profit of Rs 14 million and maintains total cash reserves of Rs 22 million.

Established in 2015, the company transitioned into a public limited company in 2025. The property has 104 rooms in total, of which 43 are set to be upgraded to five-star standards in the initial phase. The remaining rooms will also undergo phased enhancements with additional amenities, according to the company.

The resort plans to position itself as a luxury destination, offering spacious rooms, suites, villas, a casino hall, banquet facilities, and other premium services. Currently operating 43 rooms, the management also intends to expand its existing conference hall capacity from 300 to 600 people as part of its upgrade strategy.
