Kathmandu: In a razor-thin contest in Okhaldhunga, which has a single parliamentary constituency, Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Bishworaj Pokharel secured victory by a margin of just five votes.
Pokharel defeated Kumar Luintel of the Nepali Congress after receiving 13,953 votes in the final count.
Luintel finished a close second with 13,948 votes, making it one of the closest results in the election.
