Kathmandu: SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Omoda Jaecoo and ICAUR in Nepal, has announced an industry-leading 11-year warranty on EV battery and motor components for Omoda Jaecoo and ICAUR models, making it one of the longest EV warranty programs available in Nepal.
Omoda Jaecoo and ICAUR vehicles currently come with the company’s standard manufacturer warranty of 8 Years or 180,000 kms (whichever occurs first) and a drive motor of 8 Years or 160,000 kms (whichever occurs first). Under the newly introduced extended warranty program, coverage has now been increased to 11 years or 240,000 kilometres for the battery and 11 years or 200,000 kilometres for the drive motor assembly, whichever comes first.
The extended warranty is available on the Omoda E5, Jaecoo J5, Jaecoo J6T and ICAUR V23 models, further strengthening customer confidence and making EV ownership more worry-free.
Under this extended warranty, customers will receive comprehensive coverage for defects in the traction battery pack and drive motor assembly.
