Kathmandu: Himgiri Hygiene has reported a strong financial performance, posting business of Rs 3.56 billion in the last fiscal year.
The company had recorded Rs 3.05 billion in 2024 and Rs 2.465 billion in 2023, reflecting steady growth over the past three years.
The company’s revenue grew by 17 percent in the last fiscal year, driven largely by a 15 percent increase in sales volume, indicating rising demand for its products in the market.
Profitability saw a notable jump as well. The company earned a net profit of Rs 125 million in the last fiscal year, compared to Rs 48 million in 2024. Its total cash reserves also increased significantly to Rs 155 million, up from Rs 69 million a year earlier.
In the current fiscal year, Himgiri Hygiene has already achieved sales worth Rs 2.293 billion within the first eight months, suggesting continued momentum in business growth.
Established in 2005, the company manufactures a wide range of household and personal care products, including soaps, detergents, toilet cleaners, phenyl, handwash, and tissue paper. It operates with an annual production capacity of 19,000 metric tons of laundry soap, 2,400 metric tons of toilet soap, 5,000 metric tons of detergent, and 3,125 metric tons of HPC products.
Led by Chairman Mahesh Jaju, the company markets its products under 26 brands, including Aura, Dhoni, Mr. Clean, and Extra.
Owned by the Devnara Group and Jaju Group, the company has secured a credit rating of Rs 1.5857 billion for both long-term and short-term borrowings, with Rs 220.5 million allocated for long-term loans and Rs 1.3652 billion for short-term financing.
