Kathmandu: Nepal Bank has introduced a new “Ghaderi Loan” scheme aimed at helping individuals purchase land and eventually build their own homes.
Launched under the slogan “We Turn Your Dreams Into Reality,” the new financing facility is designed to make land ownership more accessible for the general public by offering easier access to loans for purchasing plots of land.
One of the key features of the scheme is its long repayment period. According to the bank, borrowers will be allowed to repay the loan over a maximum period of 20 years, helping reduce the burden of monthly instalments and making land ownership more manageable, particularly for middle-income families.
The bank has also pledged to provide the loan through a simple and hassle-free process at competitive interest rates.
Nepal Bank said the service will be available through all of its branches across the country, allowing customers to apply from the branch most convenient to them.
