Government allocates Rs 3.63 billion for labour and employment sector in FY 2083/84 budget


Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal has set aside a total of 3.63 billion rupees for the labour and employment sector for the upcoming fiscal year.

Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Waglé made this announcement on Friday while presenting the federal budget for the fiscal year 2083/84 during a joint session of the Federal Parliament.

This budgetary provision is aimed at strengthening the labour market and supporting various employment-related initiatives to drive economic growth and provide better opportunities for the nation’s workforce.
