Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal has announced a special financial support initiative for the families of those who were martyred or injured during the Gen-Z Movement.
Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Waglé unveiled this provision while presenting the federal budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 during a joint session of the Federal Parliament today.
Under this new program, the affected families will be integrated into the government’s concessional loan schemes, granting them access to subsidized credit to support their livelihoods and economic recovery as a gesture of national recognition for their sacrifices.
