Tanahu: Byas Municipality in the district has issued a notice, urging all concerned sides to remove illegal structures established in public/government lands.
The local level issued the notice on Monday, reminding the concerned individuals and organizations that they had dismantled the huts and houses which encroach upon roads and public spaces.
The 238th meeting of the municipality took a decision to remind the move to be enforced within 35 days, according to engineer Amrit KC. He added that the owners of the buildings/structures are requested to dismantle the property set up in public spaces within a deadline. If they ignore notice, the local level would take action as per existing law.
“It is the responsibility of each resident at the local level to protect public spaces. So, those concerned ones were urged to do it,” KC reminded.
