Hilife launches Basmati rice in the market

Kathmandu: Hilife has introduced its Basmati rice to the market.

Known for producing and distributing health-focused food items such as beaten rice (chiura), cornflakes, Choco Plus, soybean, oats, flour, tea, gram flour (besan), and more, Hilife has now launched a new product—Basmati rice—from Wednesday.

At a “Hilife Partner Meet” event held in Kathmandu on Wednesday, the company’s chairman Ambika Prasad Poudel, along with other board members, officially unveiled the new products: Hilife Basmati Rice, Pulao Basmati Rice, and “GI Rice.”

Hilife Foods has launched these premium rice products keeping in mind Nepali consumers’ taste, nutrition, and trust.

Chairman Poudel said the rice, characterized by long grains, excellent taste, and natural aroma, is a high-quality option suitable for everything from home kitchens to restaurants.

Compared to other Basmati rice brands, Hilife’s Basmati rice is purer, cleaner, and richer in nutrients, according to Poudel.

Currently, the product is available in 1 kg, 5 kg, and 20 kg packs. Poudel added that 10 kg and 15 kg packs will also be introduced soon.

Alongside rice, Hilife also plans to soon launch lentils, legumes, and puffed rice (bhuja) into the market.
