Nepal Life Insurance concludes grand 3-day Leadership Excellence Awards 2025


Kathmandu: Nepal Life Insurance Company, the country’s most trusted life insurer, has successfully concluded its three-day Leadership Excellence Awards 2025 with grandeur at The Soaltee, Kathmandu, from 1–3 August. The event was held under the theme “Year of the Lion: Lead, Roar, Repeat.”

The programme saw the strong presence of 440 top-performing agents, agency managers, and company staff from across the country.

The inauguration ceremony, marked by the lighting of a traditional lamp, was jointly conducted by company directors Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal and Bimal Dhakal, along with CEO Pravin Raman Parajuli.

Speaking at the event, Board Director Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal congratulated all agents and employees for helping the company achieve a historic milestone of Rs 10 billion in first-year premiums during the fiscal year 2024/25.

Director Bimal Prasad Dhakal also extended his gratitude, noting that Nepal Life agents demonstrated outstanding performance despite economic challenges.

CEO Parajuli congratulated the honoured agents and thanked them for their achievements in the past year, urging everyone to remain fully committed from the start to meet the business goals of the current fiscal year 2025/26. He reviewed last year’s performance and presented the company’s sales strategies for the year ahead.

National Sales Head Umapati Pokharel expressed appreciation to all agents, sales team members, and staff for contributing to last year’s success. He highlighted that structural changes within the company had strengthened operations, improved service delivery, and made business processes more efficient.

Ganesh Adhikari, President of the Nepal Life chapter of the Professional Insurance Agents’ Association, extended heartfelt thanks to all agents and staff for their role in meeting last year’s targets. He expressed confidence that the current team could achieve the new goals set for the year.

Similarly, Om KC, General Secretary of the Professional Insurance Agents’ Federation, praised Nepal Life agents as the most capable in the nation and emphasized their readiness to transfer skills and experience to the next generation while expanding insurance access.

The ceremony honoured 111 top agency managers and 329 top individual agents. Awards included 96 Samrat medals, 87 Ratna medals, and 257 Samriddhi medals. Top three agency managers — Madan Bhatt (1st), Sneha Bhatt (2nd), and Basanti Sharma (3rd) — as well as top three individual agents — Sumitra Bhatt (1st), Arbin Rajbanshi (2nd), and Ayush Kunwar (3rd) — received special trophies along with cash prizes.

The three-day event also featured an inspiring motivational session and a special performance by comedian and motivational speaker Sandeep Chhetri, adding energy and entertainment to the celebrations.
