Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid Electric draws strong crowd at NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo


Kathmandu: Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid Electric has become a major attraction at the ongoing NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, which began on Wednesday.

The model, officially imported for Nepal by United Traders Syndicate, has drawn strong interest from both customers and visitors.

The Yaris Cross Hybrid measures 4,310 mm in length, 1,770 mm in width, and 1,655 mm in height, with a 2,620 mm wheelbase and 18-inch tires. It offers 210 mm of ground clearance and comes equipped with premium features such as a panoramic glass roof, a 10.1-inch infotainment system, a 7-inch multi-information display, six speakers, and a panoramic 360-degree camera. Additional amenities include a wireless mobile charger, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a power tailgate with kick sensor.

On the safety front, the SUV includes six airbags, vehicle stability control, anti-lock braking system (ABS), emergency stop signal, hill-start assist control, traction control, reverse camera, front and rear parking sensors, front departure alert, pedal misoperation control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and tire pressure monitoring.

Powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder dual VVT-i engine paired with a hybrid powertrain, the Yaris Cross also features an electric motor and a 4.3 Ah battery pack. The vehicle uses an e-CVT gearbox and includes a regenerative braking system. According to the company, it delivers a fuel efficiency of 26 km per litre.

Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid Electric is priced at Rs 12.9 million in the Nepali market.
