Samsung Nepal launches Monsoon Camp to repair smartphones

Kathmandu: As the monsoon season brings with it humidity and water-related damage, Samsung has launched the Samsung Monsoon Camp, an initiative to help customers repair one of the most vulnerable parts of their smartphones: the charging port.

Running until 24 August 2025 this customer care campaign invites all Samsung users, regardless of warranty status, to visit authorized Samsung Service Centers for a free charging port replacement in case of damage.

While charging port replacements will be offered free of cost, customers will need to bear the full labour charges and the cost of any additional parts that may be required. The services under the Monsoon Camp will be provided exclusively at Samsung’s authorized Service Centers.

“At Samsung Nepal, we are committed to ensuring our customers enjoy a worry-free experience with their devices, no matter the season. The monsoon often brings humidity and water-related risks that can affect smartphones, especially the charging port. Through the Samsung Monsoon Camp, we aim to provide preventive care and support, helping our users protect their phones and stay connected safely throughout the rainy season,” said Rajan Bhattarai, Deputy General Manager, Head of CS.

Samsung encourages users to take advantage of this limited-time service opportunity and ensure their devices are ready to weather the monsoon safely.
