Kathmandu: Shiv Parvati Agro Pvt. Ltd. has reported a 16 percent decline in its annual sales for 2025 compared to the previous year.
The company recorded sales worth Rs 1.716 billion in 2024, but that figure fell to Rs 1.441 billion in 2025. In 2024, the company had set a new record with a 41 percent year-on-year sales increase.
In earlier years, the company posted sales of Rs 310 million in 2022 and Rs 1.219 billion in 2023. Established in 2019, the company specializes in rice processing, operating from its facility in Parsouni, Parsa district, with a production capacity of 11 metric tons of rice per hour.
In addition to rice, the company also sells husk byproducts generated from paddy processing. Despite the drop in sales, net profit improved — rising to 2.60 percent in 2025 from 1.07 percent in 2024.
Shiv Parvati Agro markets its processed rice under the brand names Kalom, Roshni, Gorakhnath, and Bansbari.
Owned by Manoj Kumar Gupta, the company has secured credit ratings for loans totaling Rs 1.35 billion — including Rs 447 million in long-term loans and Rs 903 million in short-term loans.
