Kathmandu: The stock market saw a rebound after a double-digit fall in the previous session.
On the second trading day of the week, Monday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 11.75 points, closing at 2,772.98 points.
In contrast, on the previous trading day, Sunday, NEPSE had dropped by 27.14 points, closing at 2,761.22 points.
On Monday, total turnover on NEPSE stood at Rs 6.17 billion.
In comparison, on Sunday, total transactions had amounted to Rs 7.61 billion.
Among the companies traded on Monday, share prices of 175 companies increased, while 74 companies saw declines.
