Khandbari (Sankhuwasabha): President Ramchandra Paudel arrived here today to grace the Diamond Jubilee special celebration of the Madi Secondary School in Madi municipality.
The school that was established in 2007 BS is considered to have contributed significantly to the enrichment of education in the eastern Nepal.
Upon arrival here, the President was welcomed by Chief District Officer Sirjana Thapaliya, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Deepak Khadka and school Principal Bishwanath Subedi among others.
The President is scheduled to unveil the ‘Diamond Monument’ and an idol of Goddess Saraswoti built on the school premises.
