Kathmandu: In line with its motto “Strong Bank, Successful Partnership,” Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited has entered into agreements with various institutions, including hospitals and restaurants, to expand customer benefits through collaborative initiatives.
Following the agreements, customers using the bank’s debit cards, credit cards, or mobile banking services will be eligible for special discounts on a wide range of services offered by partner institutions.
The bank believes such collaborations will provide direct benefits to its digital banking users while further promoting financial inclusion. At the same time, the bank continues to run financial literacy programs across its branches to help Nepali citizens adapt to the digital era.
Recently, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank also launched a new plan allowing its credit card holders to purchase tour packages via travel agencies and convert the payments into monthly installments. Customers will be able to spread payments over 6 to 12 months with flexible repayment options, making travel more accessible.
The bank says the strategy reflects its commitment to customer convenience, digital adoption, and innovative financial solutions tailored to evolving lifestyles in Nepal.
