RSP candidate Biraj Bhakta Shrestha wins Kathmandu-8 by huge margin


Kathmandu: Biraj Bhakta Shrestha of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won the House of Representatives seat from Kathmandu Constituency No. 8 with a commanding margin. Shrestha secured 24,592 votes to claim the victory in the parliamentary election.

His closest rival, Suman Sayami of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), received just 3,217 votes.

With a lead of more than 21,000 votes, Shrestha’s victory stands as one of the most decisive wins in the constituency.
