DPR and tender process begins for 37 MW Tejo Thogam Khola Hydropower Project


Kathmandu: A key step forward has been taken for the 37 MW Tejo Thogam Khola PRoR hydropower project, with an agreement signed to prepare its detailed project report (DPR) and tender documents. The deal was concluded between project developer Snowfall Hydropower Pvt Ltd and consulting firm Slesha Engineering Consultancy Pvt Ltd (SECON).

The agreement was signed by Prakash Dulal, chairman of Snowfall Hydropower, and Shashi Sharma Bhandari, chairman of Slesha Engineering. Under the agreement, the consultancy will carry out a full feasibility study, prepare the DPR, and develop tender documents for the project.

According to Dulal, the project is being advanced with the goal of contributing meaningfully to Nepal’s energy sector, as the country continues to expand its hydropower capacity and infrastructure.
