Kathmandu: Haier has set a new benchmark in the global smart home technology market, securing the position of the world’s number one smart home enterprise. According to 2025 data released by Euromonitor International, the ranking is based on the company’s global revenue from smart home solutions and the breadth of its connected devices.
The company has expanded beyond traditional home appliances into a comprehensive smart living ecosystem, covering areas such as smart devices, home security systems, smart lighting, and energy management. This evolution positions Haier not just as an appliance manufacturer but as a leading player in the broader smart living space.
Integrating artificial intelligence across its product line, Haier has developed more than 70 smart devices designed for use across kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, and bathrooms. These devices are connected through a unified software platform, allowing seamless communication between them and enhancing everyday convenience for users.
Haier currently serves over 130 million users worldwide, with millions actively managing daily tasks through its smart home platform. To further strengthen this ecosystem, the company has introduced Smart AI 2.0, an upgraded system that enables devices to better understand and respond to user needs autonomously.
For instance, smart refrigerators can detect the contents stored inside and automatically adjust cooling settings accordingly. Looking ahead, Haier aims to integrate hardware, software, and robotics into a unified system, advancing the next generation of smart home technology.
As part of this vision, the company is developing systems that connect smart devices with robots capable of handling household tasks—from organizing items to cleaning and maintenance—reducing the need for manual effort.
According to the company, such innovations will transform homes into environments that can “see, hear, and think,” making daily life more convenient, intelligent, and modern.
