Kathmandu: The price of gold and silver has increased in the domestic market on Wednesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of yellow metal has risen by Rs 7,400 per tola (11.66 grammes) and reached Rs 297,600. It was Rs 290,200 on Tuesday.
Similarly, the silver price also climbed today. It is being traded at Rs 4,945 per tola against Rs 4,845 on Tuesday. It has jumped by Rs 100 per tola, said the Federation.
As per the international media, gold is trading at 4,705 US dollars per ounce and silver of a similar quantity at 75 US dollars in the international market today.
